Music, community, in the heart of Scotland

International and local artists, the community on stage together, in one of the most breathtaking corners of the Highlands. That’s Killin Music Fest.

How good it was. I would have come years ago.

Killin to its Soul

Killin Music Fest isn't like other festivals. Set in the heart of the Scottish Highlands, it’s built from the ground up by and for the community of Killin - where local performers share the stage with national and international artists, and where everyone from toddlers to grandparents feels at home.

Less than an hour north of Stirling, Killin is a small village with a very big heart. The festival brings its different facets together for one weekend every June and has done so since 2016. Be part of it.

It re-ignited our love of live music.

Attendee, 2023

Sunday community day is free and open to all. Pipe band parade, Gaelic singing, local performers and more. No ticket needed.

Great to be at a very village orientated event. Felt like the town was very much at the centre of all that happened.

There are a lot of events that brand themselves as ‘community festivals’ - Killin is very much a community festival to its soul.
Already in that festival, the sense of community in this town is absolutely incredible. Everybody’s really chatty and friendly. Drinks are flowing, and everybody’s having a great time.

Frequently asked questions

2026: one brilliant night. This year we’re focusing everything on one exceptional main stage evening at McLaren Hall, with a headline act and full lineup to be announced on 3 April. Sunday community events remain free and open to all.

A young local boy sitting next to me during Celtic Kin said he was going to learn to play the fiddle.

Attendee, 2023

I’ve bought my ticket. What happens next?

Bring your ticket to the event, either printed out or on your mobile device. The QR code will be scanned at the door and exchanged for a festival wristband, which gives you access to the main stage in McLaren Hall.

What does my wristband allow me to do?

Your wristband gives you access to the main stage concert on Saturday 20 June. Sunday community events (Community Stage, Gaelic Singing Circle, Col Charles Stewart Quaich, Pipe Band Parade) are all free and open to everyone - no wristband required.

Can I give my wristband to someone else?

No. Wristbands must not be removed and given to another person. Anyone with a broken wristband will be denied entry, and those found inside with a broken wristband may be asked to leave.

Tickets themselves are independently transferable - you can pass on or sell your ticket before the event.

I can’t make it. Can I get a refund?

Tickets are non-refundable. However, tickets are independently transferable - you can sell or pass on your ticket. Tickets bought or sold through third parties are done so at your own risk.

Is there a campsite this year?

No - there is no festival campsite in 2026. Killin and the surrounding area has a range of accommodation options including hotels, B&Bs, and self-catering. We recommend booking early as accommodation fills up quickly around the festival weekend. Browse accommodation on VisitScotland.

Travelling by campervan? The local community council promotes Old Station Carpark as an aire for overnight campervan stops. View details on Search for Sites.

Is there a bar at the event?

Yes, there are bars on site at McLaren Hall. A Challenge 25 policy operates - please bring valid ID. Due to our licence, only drinks purchased at the event bars are permitted within the venue.

Will there be seating?

The hall will have seats around the outside walls and reserved seating is available in the balcony. The main floor area is standing. Balcony seating is available to reserve via our ticketing platform on a first come first served basis.

Is this event suitable for young children?

Under 5s are not permitted at the main stage concert. The event features loud music in an indoor venue and is not appropriate for very young children.

Sunday’s community events are free, family-friendly, and welcome all ages including under 5s.

Is there disabled access?

Yes, McLaren Hall has disabled access. If you have specific access requirements, please contact us at office@killinmusicfest.com in advance so we can ensure you have the best experience.

Can I perform at Killin Music Fest?

We’re always interested in hearing from artists. Get in touch via the contact section below, or have a chat with one of our team at the festival.

I’ve lost my ticket. What do I do?

Contact Ticket Tailor directly for support with lost or missing tickets. You can also log back in to your Ticket Tailor account to resend your confirmation.

Over 100 artists. One wee village.

Since 2016, these artists have graced the stage at Killin Music Fest. From iconic Scottish acts to rising local talent, this is the company you’ll be keeping.

As I get older I realise just how much heritage and culture we have on our doorsteps. The festival has opened my eyes to what we have as a country to offer.
